Breaking: Judge Orders DOJ Release Grand Jury Notes from Mueller Report

Just moments ago, a judge ordered The Department of Justice to turn over redacted information from the Mueller report to Congress.

That includes all portions of Mueller’s report on the investigation into Russian interference in the 2018 U.S. presidential election that were redacted.  The order also requires the Justice Department to turn over transcripts or exhibits that were also redacted.

“In carrying out the weighty constitutional duty of determining whether impeachment of the President is warranted, Congress need not redo the nearly two years of effort spent on the Special Counsel’s investigation, nor risk being misled by witnesses, who may have provided information to the grand jury and the Special Counsel that varies from what they tell [the House Judiciary Committee],” District Court Judge Beryl Howell said, as quoted by The Hill.

This news just hit.  Stay tuned for more on this developing story.
